About · The company behind the platform

Memora is built by Arin d.o.o.

Arin is a European technology company building durable infrastructure for media publishers: publishing that has to survive decades, systems that have to run without interruption and identity that has to be verifiable. Our partners are portals, funeral homes and local institutions across Europe.

What we build and why

We started with obituaries and are building an operational layer.

Memora grew around a tradition worth extending into digital. An obituary is not passing content: it carries a name, a date, a photograph and details that must stay available to families and researchers for decades after publication. The print edition keeps coming out, the digital one joins it and outlives it.

The platform grew out of that work. What a newsroom did by hand for years now runs on its own, and where a system must not decide alone, a person still signs the decision. Alongside obituaries stand an operational layer for web systems and a layer for European digital identity, three lines over the same infrastructure.

We work with media publishers across Europe, under European rules and with the right to export at any moment. In the period ahead we are expanding through central and south-eastern Europe, adding the modules individual markets ask for and holding operational stability. Fast growth must not come at the cost of permanence.

Questions about the company

Six questions about Memora

What is Memora?

Memora is a European technology hub that builds autonomous systems for websites and media. Its lines are digital obituaries under the publisher's own brand, Web Runner for website development and complete website care, the EU digital wallet for European digital identity. The brand is operated by Arin d.o.o. from Split, Croatia, and the platform is published at memoraplatform.com.

Who runs Memora and where is it based?

Memora is run by Arin d.o.o., based in Split, Croatia. The co-founders are Mislava Zuppa, Tino Milat and Zoran Pujic. All platform work is directed from Split, with partners across three European regions.

What product lines does Memora offer?

Three, and none of them sits inside another. Digital obituaries cover publishing connected to the print edition, editorial tools and monetization. Web Runner combines development, maintenance, security, cloud backup, SEO and AI optimization. Pulse monitoring starts at 99 EUR per month including VAT; additional services are agreed separately. The EU digital wallet connects a system to European digital identity and is in early access.

Who is Memora for?

Media publishers in Europe, and anyone else running a web system that has to stay available: portals, newspaper houses and institutions. The platform is in production with 34 media partners across three regions. Obituaries go live in 1 to 2 days.

Which languages does Memora work in?

Eleven: English, Croatian, Bosnian, German, Italian, Serbian, Macedonian, Slovenian, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Memora Web Runner is available in Croatian and English.

Where is the data stored?

On GDPR-compliant hosting in the European Union. Content entered by the newsroom and by visitors remains the property of the partner. If the partnership ends, the partner chooses between a free structured export of the entire database or purchase of the operational database at market price.
